We carry out a wide range of cabin refurbishment projects, from bespoke designs and external customer refurbishments to servicing and repairing cabins for sale — so no two days are the same. An honest, hard day's work in return for a fair day's pay is all we ask, with overtime, Saturday work and further training available for the right people.
What the work involves
Everything happens under one roof at our Miles Platting workshops. A unit comes in off the transport, gets stripped back, repaired, rewired or replumbed as needed, then painted and finished before it goes out to a customer. The trades work alongside each other rather than in isolation — fitters, electricians and painters all on the same units, usually to a deadline set by a delivery date.
The work is hands-on and varied. One week you might be fitting out a welfare unit with a kitchen and drying room, the next stripping a 32ft office back to the shell for a bespoke customer spec, the next hanging shutters and putting a fresh coat of gloss on something heading out to a construction site. If you like seeing a job finished and going out of the gate, it suits.
Hours, pay and getting here
Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with overtime and Saturday work available for those who want it. Pay is negotiable and depends on what you bring — we would rather pay properly for someone who does the job right than keep churning through people. Further training and CSCS card support are available where a role calls for it.
We are on Norton Street in Miles Platting, a few minutes from Manchester city centre, with parking on site. See where to find us.
