Cabin Fitter / Plumber — Manchester Workshop
A position has opened in our portable cabin refurbishment workshop in Miles Platting, Manchester, for a motivated, knowledgeable and hard-working plumber / cabin fitter.

The job is based at our Manchester premises in Miles Platting, our home for over 30 years. We carry out a wide range of refurbishment projects, including bespoke designs, work for external customers, and the servicing and repair of units for sale.
The role
The plumbing role requires sound knowledge and competence at fitting kitchens, toilets, showers and sinks, as well as carrying out water tests. You'll also work as part of the team and take on a variety of tasks within the workshop.
To be a successful candidate
- Have a full set of tools for the job
- Experience in basic plumbing of kitchens, toilets and showers, plus testing
- Full UK driving licence
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
What the work is like
The work is varied. One unit might need a full kitchen and washroom fitted from scratch, the next might be a repair or a bespoke layout for a customer. You will be working indoors in the workshop alongside our joiners, painters and electricians, so there is always someone to hand when a job needs two pairs of hands.
We are not a production line. Units come in in different conditions and to different specifications, so we are looking for someone who can think a job through rather than repeat the same task all day.

Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Overtime and Saturday work available.
